The vibe and drinks are amazing. Love that you can order chinese food from their sister restaurant next door. Come early, it gets super busy!

came in for a work trip and a friend recommended this bar. What a cool place great cocktail menu Amy our server was one of the best servers I’ve ever had in all my years. Dakota (hope that’s correct) was also awesome. Highly recommend this bar.

Overall rating: 4.8 Super cute spot I was taken to on a date. The decor is beautiful and the booths are really comfortable! There weren’t that many people but I did go on a Thursday. The drinks were delicious and they also serve off menu if you just tell them what you like. If I wasn’t an out of towner I’d definitely go back. It’s great for friends, dates, by yourself. Very rare! Highly recommend.

Polite is fun bar to get great drinks, bartenders are very knowledgeable, they make your drink like a work of art, I did not have the food here, so I can't really comment on it.

I don't give out too many 5 star ratings Well deserved in this case Polite Provisions is exceptional Staff are fun and talkative. They make drinks with passion and zeal! Plenty of things to look at while sipping your perfect cocktail

Holiday drinks galore! Checked this place on Christmas night and it was fabulous. The holiday decorations were on point. Lots of red and green everywhere. There were even Hanukah decorations. We enjoyed the Naughty & Spice and Christmas on Mars. Both drinks were on point. We will be back next year!

I absolutely love this place. The cocktails are perfection. They are unique, have depth, surprising flavors that just work so well together. The bartenders are so kind and even on an insanely busy night explained the drink I was unsure about to me so beautifully, I tried it and was blown away. Other girls passed me and asked about it, so we all got it like a chain reaction. It was the ghost of Christmas past drink! Try it! I also got the spicy coquito shot which was amazing! So delicious. I love that their drinks change often although some of my faves, I wish they still had on the menu. It’s such a cute vibe inside. So many fun little details.

Polite Provisions in North Park is an excellent cocktail bar with great drinks and an easygoing atmosphere. It gets very busy very quickly once the crowd rolls in, and ordering can be a bit tough during peak times, but the bartenders do a great job checking in and making sure you’re taken care of. Street parking can be hard to find, so plan ahead. Their Polite Provisions Old Fashioned is easily one of the best, they used a barrel select ER10 - well balanced and perfectly executed. Definitely worth the visit if you’re into quality cocktails. Food can be ordered next door and will be brought to you. We usually try to stop in every visit to San Diego.

Even when the room is packed—which is often, given its popularity—the bartenders remain focused and professional, treating every pour like an art form. ​One of the best things about the experience is the ability to grab food from Fortunate Son next door and have it brought right to your table. There is something uniquely satisfying about pairing a sophisticated, spirit-forward cocktail with a plate of high-quality Chinese food. It’s a North Park staple for a reason, perfect for a date night or a late-night catch-up with friends when you want an atmosphere that’s lively but still feels elevated.
